When you are looking for a mobile phone deal, there are three types of contract to choose from:
Monthly Contract:
With a monthly contract mobile phone deal you pay a monthly fee. In return for a new phone and a monthly allowance of calls, texts and data. Once you sign the contract you are then tied into a network provider ( either Manx Telecom or Sure ) for a set period of time. Contracts typically range from 12 months to 36 months ( with most contracts typically lasting 24 months). This type of contract is a good option if you want to spread the cost over a set amount of time, or if you are a heavy mobile phone user.
Sim Only Deals:
Sim only offerings can either be a one month rolling contract or a 12 month contract. This type of contract does not involve a new mobile phone and are useful if you already have a phone you want to keep but are seeking a better deal ( and price) for calls, minutes and data offerings.
Pay As You Go:
With a pay as you go deal these are a brilliant option if you are a light user of your mobile phone, or prefer to be not be tied into a mobile phone contract. You will need to top up your credit when you run out, otherwise you will be unable to send any texts, make any calls or use any data.
