Upcoming Arqiva mast maintenance works - 20th & 21st July 2026. Douglas & Jurby

ConsumerThe Authority has been made aware of planned essential maintenance work at the following sites:
Douglas and Jurby between 20th July 2026 at 22:00hrs and 21st July 2026 at 01:00hrs. The duration of the work is: Douglas - between 2 and 6 hours and Jurby – between 1 and 5 hours.
Additional details: 3rd Party work by BT to carry out Phase 7 – ASR903 Upgrades. There may not be any impacts seen.

Upcoming Arqiva mast maintenance works - 13th July to 17th July 2026 ( various locations)

ConsumerThe Authority has been made aware of planned essential maintenance work affecting TV and Radio signals at the following sites:
Douglas – Antenna Inspection and Fault Investigation on UHF and DAB between 13th July 2026 9am and 16th July 2026 5pm.
This work is scheduled for two days between the above-mentioned work window with a loss of redundancy of between 2 and 6 hours one day and up to an hour the second day.
Port St Mary – Antenna Inspection between 13th July 2026 9am and 17th July 2026 4pm.
There will be an impact to service on one weather suitable day within the above-mentioned work window. The duration will be up to an hour long.
Beary Park Mast – Maintenance on 15th July 2026 9am until 4pm
Essential electrical maintenance scheduled on 15th July 2026 for up to 7 hours duration.

18/26: Interim Gas Tariff Review Notice

ConsumerFollowing completion of the mid year tariff review the Authority can confirm that there will be no change to regulated gas tariffs in July 2026.

16/26: Consultation On The Gas (Tariff Fixing)(Parameters)(Amendment) Regulations 2026

ConsumerThe Authority has published its Consultation on the Gas (Tariff Fixing) (Parameters) (Amendment) Regulations 2026.
Subject to Tynwald approval, the Regulations would amend the Gas (Tariff Fixing) (Parameters) Regulations 2022 in line with the Authority’s Decision arising from the recent consultation process on gas tariffs for larger commercial gas customers, as set out in Documents 15/25 and 13/26.

Douglas Transmitter Fault

ConsumerThe Authority has today been made aware that the Douglas transmitter has developed a fault, which is impacting television reception.
The Authority has contacted the operator who has advised that an engineer is investigating the issue.
The Authority will post a further update when available.

13/26: Response To Consultation Large Commercial Gas Customers

ConsumerThe Authority has published its Response to Consultation and Decision in relation to the gas tariffs that will apply to Regulated Commercial Consumers. The outcome of the process is that the average tariff for Regulated Commercial Customers will be 1.5p/unit below the Regulated All-Island Central Heating Tariff. The Authority is in the process of making Regulations to give effect to this Decision and will bring them before Tynwald for approval at the earliest juncture.
